 Recently I was delighted to attend the cd release party/concert of the Laurence Hobgood trio, at the famous Green Mill jazz club in Chicago. Laurence premiered several new numbers from his upcoming album “Honor Thy Fathers”. A couple of the tunes I really loved were “White Cloud Way” and “Tryptych”. I combined both of those ideas into this trio of Himalayan paintings. I’m so happy they’ve found a place in Laurence’s home.

Ask me about framing options ...    Here is one of my latest sales. I spotted this little stand of birch trees one evening, walking home from my studio. It seemed like the last hint of winter. I painted one, and didn’t want to stop, so it become a triptych. Watercolor, acrylic and ink on paper.
